I’ve a few recordings that have survived the changes in technology and the natural degradation of formats such as tape. This song, which I pretty much count as my masterpiece, is not the original that I recorded, but a version produced by a Nashville-area songwriter’s demo studio.

The woman for whom I wrote this song, as far as I know, has never heard it. I keep thinking, as I age, that I should look her up and make sure she hears it. You know… just to balance things out.
